GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS
 
The 600A Neck Socket Welding Flange is designed to provide a strong, compact and reliable connection for piping systems where a secure welded joint is required. Its socket-type configuration allows the pipe to be inserted into the machined recess of the flange before welding, helping achieve accurate positioning, correct alignment and a stable connection between the pipe and flange.
 
One of the main advantages of the socket welding design is the ease of pipe positioning during installation. The internal socket acts as a guide for the pipe, simplifying fit-up before welding and helping maintain the correct alignment of the assembly. Once positioned, the connection is secured by welding, creating a robust joint suitable for demanding piping and industrial service conditions.
The neck and socket configuration provides additional structural support around the pipe connection and contributes to an effective transfer of mechanical loads between the pipe and flange. This makes the 600A Neck Socket Welding Flange a practical solution for installations where connection strength, dimensional accuracy, reliability and compact construction are important.
These flanges can be supplied with Flat Face (FF) or Raised Face (RF) sealing surfaces, allowing the connection arrangement to be selected according to the mating component, gasket and piping system requirements.
 
The 600A flange range can be manufactured according to several internationally recognized flange systems, including GB, ASME, JIS and DIN standards, providing flexibility for use in different markets and engineering specifications. Depending on the selected standard and configuration, sizes are available from approximately 3/8" up to 80", with specifications covering DN10 up to DN4000, and nominal pressure classes ranging from PN2.5 bar up to PN100 bar.
 
A wide selection of materials is available to meet different mechanical, temperature and corrosion-resistance requirements, including Q235, A105, 20#, 20G, 16Mn, Q245R, Q345R, S304, S304L, S316, S316L and other alloy materials. Manufacturing can be carried out in accordance with applicable standards including HG/T 20592, HG/T 20615, GB/T 9119, JB/T 81, NB/T 47020–NB/T 47027, ASME B16.5, JIS B2238/JIS B2239 and applicable DIN flange standards, depending on the required product configuration.
 
The combination of easy pipe positioning, secure welded connection, strong mechanical performance, multiple pressure classes, different sealing faces and a broad selection of international standards and materials makes the 600A Neck Socket Welding Flange a versatile solution for industrial piping systems.
 
Flanges can also be customized according to customer drawings and specific project requirements, including dimensions, material, pressure rating, facing and applicable standard.
